Training Session 2

This is a beginner’s course designed for those with little to no electrical or controls training. This course will introduce the basic concepts of electricity and its practical use. Concepts covered in this training are: Understanding electrical theories and terms, such as ohms law voltage, current, resistance, potential and flow, the use of meters for testing voltage, amperage and resistance, basic circuit and basic electrical symbols, motors, switches, and other electrical loads. Basic Electrical Safety will also be covered

Students that provide their NATE ID are eligible for NATE continuing education credits hours. Students must attend the full session to receive credit.
